I can't say I am a fan of this product. I took some of these on a camping trip and did not like the taste of them at all. Very bland. My husband thought they were "OK". If you are looking for something with a little more taste, I recommend trying the Sopakco MRE's.

I liked them, but my backpacking partner didn't. But then again she can be way to picky about her food. The first time we used them, I don't think we stirred in the hot water enough. The next time I added hot sauce to them and they were much better. Next time mixed them with grits and bacon....not quite as good as at home but sure hit the spot.
