Great canopy but definitely a 2-person job Nov 03, 2006
By Luv 2 shop After researching canopies and comparing prices, this was definitely the best price I found (used a 30.00 coupon). It's a quality canopy used by many street vendors for it's durable fabric. You can find cheaper ones but in this case you get what you pay for!
Although the description says it can be set up in less than a minute, we would say less than 10 minutes start to finish. Comes with a wheeled storage bag and stores compactly. The 1st time we used it was during a camping trip. The vented top allowed the wind to pass thru and not lift the canopy off the ground. Would purchase again and recommend to anyone looking for a canopy that will last!

Quick & Easy Canopy Jun 03, 2007
By E. J. Evans We purchased this tent after having terrible experiences trying to errect and take down a regular canopy. We couldn't believe how easy this canopy was to use! My husband and I had it up in no time. Taking it down was even easier. If you have 4 people, the canopy can really be put up or taken down in seconds. (The first time you put it up will take a little longer since you have to attach the canopy to the frame. But after that, the canopy just remains on the frame. When taking it down, you just collaspe it, tuck in the edges and put it in its case. Very easy!) The canopy has a great carrying bag with wheels. It is easy for one person to pull. Great construction - it looks like this canopy will last a long time.

Snapped in half the first time we put it up. Sep 25, 2007
By Peter Thatcher I was pretty excited to order the "Bravo Marketplace 10 x 10 Quik Shade Instant Canopy". It looked big, had a nice color, and the reviews implied it was sturdy.
It is NOT sturdy. There are two problems that I can see:
1. The metal bars are very weak.
2. They are held together by bolts, but the bolts are held together by plastic pieces.
The very first time we put it up, the bolts slipped through their plastic pieces, which made the metal polls bend awkwardly, and one of them snapped. I'm sure others would snap also, except now the canopy is useless.
Luckily, Amazon has wonderful service. Even though it was past the 30 days, they were kind enough to accept a full refund and pay for the shipping back.
On the plus side, the canopy is very big and has little wheels on the bottom when packed up. If you buy one and it doesn't fall apart, then it would probably be very nice to have. It's a shame that Bravo chose to use cheap plastic parts to hold the joints together. The canopy would be much more sturdy if those parts were all metal.
In comparison, I've previously borrowed both EZ-UP and cheap knock offs from family and friends. They have all performed better than this product, even the cheap ones. I don't remember anything nearly this flimsy.

Great Tent, poor carrying bag Jan 09, 2008
By Rater McRaterson The tent itself is a great item. It goes up and down easily. The carrying bag is thin and the seams fray and separate easily. The pulls easily come off from the zipper. I have two of these and both are doing the same thing. It looks like some sewing will be in my future. I may get some old fashioned knee patches and reinforce the corners. Try not to use the wheels to pull the item around or the straps to carry it. This only wears out the storage bag further by possibly dragging the corners through grass. When possible, carry the tent with a partner. I know, cumbersome. It may prolong the bag life for your unit. My only issue is with the cheaply made storage bag.

Instant awning for my patio Jul 24, 2007
By E. DeSena I had cut down a tree and now my patio is in full sun. The Bravo Marketplace does the trick. I got it in red and it's very attractive. I just wish I were able to keep it up, but it advises that it should not be left out in the rain. I wish there were a way around this, as I have to find someone to assist me in taking it down and putting it up. Set up is easy and takes only minutes, but you do need 2 people, one at either end to do it.
