"Bravo" to the Weekender Canopy May 16, 2007
By Rater McRaterson I have always wanted one of these. This one was a steal at $89.99. The first one, was damaged during shipping. As usual, Amazon was stellar with customer service. Almost all of the plastic corner connectors were cracked. It was as if it were dropped. This tells me to be careful with it and do not jostle it too much while it is in its packing bag. Certainly do not drop it.
The system itself was easy to use. I was able to set it up alone and I am only 5'2. Packed, it is a little heavy, but not unmanageable. It has wheels. I would not leave it out in the elements and the directions recommend you do not fold the canopy into the frame when packing it, however remove it and fold it separately, as it was when shipped. This pretty much makes the "instant" claim null. I may or may not follow that practice, but if I choose not to, I will not expect the canopy itself to last as long as it would if I had. For the price, it is well worth it. Do not expect the quality of a $200 system. It is very light weight, but is sturdy enough. I recommend the leg weights. It does come with stakes that store nicely in the carrying bag. If the legs do not "lock" while setting it up, the correct angle of the leg has not been achieved. They angle outward from the center of the unit and I had one of the legs too upright. Once this angle was corrected, it snapped into place. I am impressed.
Get it, you know you want to.

Good canopy for the money May 24, 2007
By Clayton Johnson Paid $79.00 each for two of these and they did the job very well. If I had to complain it would be that the fabric covering while very light, is a little too light. Tore off a velcro strip with ease by accident. Otherwise these are very nice and provide great shelter from the sun as they were intended. Stakes hold them secure to the ground and it is very windy where I live.

Super Easy Jan 21, 2007
By Willson I have only borrowed these tents in the past but finally bought my own. The 12 x 12 is actually a 10x10 awning with legs that spread to 12x12. The shade is so easy to put up and the carry case with wheels is super strong. You can even put the shade away with the awning still attached.
A great shade awning!

I am well pleased with this product which is real good construction. The joints are what makes it great , but be careful that the side brace arms point in instead of out when you put it up to keep from breaking the joints.

Very good tent Jun 11, 2007

We took this tent to the beach and it went up very easily the first time. Neither me or my girlfriend had put one of these up before, but we found this thing very easy to use and it provided an excellent amount of shade on the beach. The white canopy was quite opaque, i thought there would be a degree of translucency to it, which was not the case at all. Shade like there's a solid roof over your head.
We'll see how this thing holds up over time, but so far, so good. The carrying case has wheels on it, which makes it nice. the tent folds up nicely and can be stored in the backseat (too big for trunk) of my 1994 Honda Accord.
The tent is very sturdy and this was one of the better purchases i've made over the past few years. Can't wait to use it again.
