Perfect substitute for pockets Aug 02, 2009

Context-
This was purchased to use as pockets when going to the gym, to run or workout outside, out to a beach, or any other casual occasion when the clothes don't have pocket space for necessities.
For this, it outstanding. It has more than enough room for a wallet, keys, and phone, without being excessively large. The seperate pocket at the top for an MP3 player/iPod is a nice touch and useful if you don't like those armband things. The smaller outer pocket has a key leash and some mesh dividers. The larger one has a zippered mesh pocket, what looks like a bicycle pump holder (small sleeve and velcro to secure it at the top), and has a zippered expansion for the time when you want to carry a change of shorts and tee shirt or something of that bulk. The padding that rests on the user's spine is arranged to allow for air flow. I like feature this a lot. Oh yes, it also has a CamelBak hydration system that holds 3 liters. The styling is very sleek, with a clean appearence. The quality is very high, with tight seams and good materials, much as I've become accustomed to from CamelBak.
Excellent little pack!

Yay for CamelBak! Aug 19, 2009

I bought the Blowfish to be able to carry more water and more stuff while mountain biking. 3L is plenty (I hardly ever fill it up all the way) and the pack capacity is stellar. The Blowfish is my perfect CamelBak :)

Nice hydration pack when you need to carry a little more than the bare essentials. Apr 29, 2008
By D. Mccall The pack is very comfortable, and has ample room for some extra gear. The 100 ounce reservoir is a good size too for my long recreational rides.
My only gripe about the pack, is the lack of something stiff/hard in between the reservoir and the 'Air Director' back panel. When you fill the reservoir to full capacity, it is elliptical in shape and tends to push the center of the back panel out towards your back. And this cuts down on the efficiency/effectiveness of the 'Air Director' back panel. I took an old 3 ring binder that I had laying around, and cut the front cover off and shoved it in there, and that helped a lot.

Nice collapsable pack Jul 12, 2010
By jsmit193 This pack is ideal to carry a large amount of water while providing enough space for keys, map, wallet, phone, and a change of clothes (or even a picnic lunch), but collapses for when you don't need much extra space. Perfect for dayhikes or extended bike rides/trail running.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! Mar 24, 2009
By B. Farkas One of the most practical things I got...
It small enough to use when snowboarding and still have enough water and room for snacks and other stuff, it expands nicely for those really long bike trips and it is always comfortable to carry and keeps your back dry!
