Excellent heavy griddle Mar 07, 2011

Fantastic on a regular stove burner - at least on our electric. Even heat distribution all around, and the angled lip is great for spatulating and mess avoidance. I got nine 2oz slider burgers on it with plenty of room to grill the onions on the side. Simple green-pad cleanup, and I use a wipe-on cast iron treatment before storage.

I bought this as an alternative to a cast iron griddle. We use it only for camping and the cast iron would rust way to quickly and easily. This will still rust but so far seems far more tolerant. I season it with bacon every once and a while.

I have a Coleman 2 burner stove and this griddle covers one burner while the other burner is open for the drip coffee maker.
