 A tough, durable griddle for Camp Chef stoves Sep 17, 2003

This griddle is designed specifically for Camp Chef stoves, but can be used with most other stoves as well. It is heavy, but, as with most of Camp Chef's stuff, it is very, very durable. This griddle is perfect for the camper or excursionist who doesn't need to carry his cooking equipment far from his vehicle, and who regularly cooks for many people. It has a grease gutter and drain, and cleans easily. This griddle is specifically designed for use with a two-burner stove, but also works great on a three-burner stove. We use it on a three-burner, and keep a Dutch Oven on the spare burner to put cooked food in and keep it warm. The surface area of this griddle is very large, and so can handle cooking for many people at a time. If you need a large griddle for your stove and expect to heavily use it, the Camp Chef griddle is ideal.

This is a great product for large group camping. I have used two over the years to cook for Boy Scouts and now for a Venture Crew. I use the griddle on a two burner stove and then have a separate single burner also going. You can cook any meal for a large group such as pancakes or french toast on the griddle while cooking sausage or hash browns on the single burner. You can also set different temperatures on the griddle and cook just on it.

This accessory is designed to fit on the Camp Chef EX60LW two burner gas stove. After using on a recent camping trip I have decided to use it on my deck to cook breakfast and dinners. This is a well made heavy duty griddle and would recommend it to any one who enjoys cooking out. Also a great item for a tailgating party. Just think of Italian sausage with green peppers and onions.

This griddle is perfect for family camping trips - you know the kind - hungry, cranky bear-like kids until they get their pancakes and eggs and bacon. You can pretty much cook it all at once on this practical cook surface. Even my fussy brother enjoyed cooking a big batch of homefries on it. I thought the only discrepancy is the photo and the actual item. The griddle arrived looking like a cast-iron fry griddle (black and pre-seasoned). I thought it was shiny steel from the look of the photo and from the description. No matter- it performs beautifully. A definite plus when doing outdoor cooking.
