Coleman 3-burner dual fuel stove Feb 21, 2007
By John Bengtson This stove is the same basic design as those I've used for the last 40+ years. Just that now it burns unleaded gas, which is about one-third the price of Coleman fuel in our area right now.
The main reasons for my purchasing the stove were (1) wanting to save on fuel, and (2) wanting a larger cooking area and three burners. The stove delivers admirably on both points. Lots more space than my original two-burner, and the flareups I had expected might occur with gasoline don't happen: it's just like lighting the stove using original Coleman fuel. Highly recommended.

Good stove for large group Sep 25, 2006
By James D Mcgee
"Camper Dad"
I took this stove on a 3-day Boy Scout campout. It was easy to light and use. No real problems. I only have a couple of hang-ups. The fuel vaporizer feeds the middle burner and the other two burners feed off of the middle one. Consequently, the two side burners don't heat with the same BTU's as the middle one. This comes into play when you have a wide pan covering two burners... one side will be hotter than the other. It wasn't too difficult to work with that but I thought I'd put it down. The other thing is that if you spill anything, it will go under the burners (of course) and is hard to clean. Not a big deal really. Just be more careful. The fill hole in the tank is small so bring a funnel if you don't want white gas all over your hands.
The stove was light and took a beating for three days with no issues. We were all well fed! I liked having the 3 burners to cook with two and have coffee going on the third. We also used it to heat water for doing the dishes afterwards while still cooking or keeping food warm. That was quite handy. Coleman white gas is cheap and clean. The stove is easy to use and the Coleman company wisely stenciled the lighting instructions on the lid knowing that the instructions would never make it to the campsite. (Good call on their part!) In case you're wondering... the advantage of liquid fuel over propane is that if you're in a very cold environment, propane won't vaporize to fuel the burner. White gas will even when well below freezing. I would have given it 4.5 stars but that's not an option.

Cleman 3 Burner Dual-fuel Stove Mar 08, 2007
By Calvin P. Welch Well made (in the USA no less)and solid. Center burner is the "on burner" which makes the stove very accomodating of large size pot or kettle. Both outside burners are plenty hot and useful. If "Coleman qualified" it is a simple stove to operate and maintain. If not, it is easy to master. This is a large stove which is actually useful as a replacement home stove if power is out (though should be used only outside). Use of lead free gas makes it cheap to operate over the long hual. Totally satisfied with this classic.

Excellent, but Extremely Large Jun 29, 2009
By Marshall Goldberg This stove is a timeless classic who's quality speaks for itself; its reputation is well-earned. I agree with the other reviews that attest to its quality, durability, its economical operation and the flexibility of being able to use unleaded gas.
When I received it, I found out why the 2-burner model is much more popular than this one --> At 32" wide and nearly 20 pounds, this 3-burner model is dramatically larger than the 24" wide, 12 pound, 2-burner model.
Before ordering this model, I advise you to consider the added size and weight of the third burner in this model. It's certainly better for cooking than the 2-burner model, but it might be more stove than you want to carry.

If 2 is good 3 is better Aug 17, 2009
By avwtp This 3 burner version of the standard Coleman 2 burner classic. Main burner is in the middle with secondary burners on both sides. Distance of Center to R/L is same as the classic so you won't get any more space for cooking, just an extra burner on the other side. Workmanship, materials and such are not as solid as my old 40 yr old model but sturdy enough to not have complaints. This model does not have extendable feet so if the table is tilted so will the burner surface.
