It works but it has lots of holes in it and if you actually want to cook with it you need to wrap it in tinfoil.

For the price, this oven is great. Obviously, it does not work as well as the oven in your kitchen, but that is expected. We love it for tailgating - bake muffins in the morning, and then around lunchtime, heat up chili cheese dip. Fantastic.
Hot little oven Jul 01, 2010
Have used oven twice and have cooked biscuits, casseroles, breakfast eggs and have had super results. Have to watch out if the wind is blowing as the temp. will not maintain. I just put up cardboard wind blocks around it and it maintained the required temp.

I bought this oven for a camping trip with my daughter. The oven worked quite well and held the temperature fairly easily. Wish it was be a little more of an oblong shape to accommodate a bit bigger pan. Overall, very pleased. Works well and it adds another facet to camp cooking. Highly recommend this product.

I'm on the second summer with this little oven and love it. I've only cooked baked potatoes and canned biscuits in it and it works great. Took an hour to do the potatoes and I think that was because of so much wind. The biscuits I cooked just like the instructions said on the bicuit lable and they turned out great, again the wind effects the cooking time. A friend of mine has done Mrs Smiths pies and he said his turned out great. I would recommend this to anyone. I haven't checked to see if the temp gauge is right on or not. Like any other cooking, just keep you eye on it while it's cooking and you will be pleased with the results I think. I purchased this from Amazon.
