Camp cooking has improved! Aug 25, 2007
By Grant L. Rohr I've been using a traditional two-burner white gas Coleman stove for about thirty years. My trusty Model 425 has served me well, but I always have had problems cooking at medium and low temperatures. So when I saw this model at a local store, I decided to give it a try. The battery-operated igniter sure makes firing up the stove easy. The low BTU central burner distributes the heat evenly across a large griddle or frying pan. It was very handy to have this central burner to simmer the food at a lower temperature if needed. After eight days of camping, I'm impressed. The stove doesn't appear as rugged as my old Model 425, but it is light and compact.

Great product with minor issues Oct 17, 2007
By kukajim The only issue that I have is trying to simmer a pot of soup. The knobs are not clearly marked and difficult to place on a low setting.
The burner output is amazing high... great for cooking a stir-fry

Excellent Oct 17, 2007
By J. Mondone This coleman 3 burner stove was just what I was looking for, compact lite and very easy to set up. Plus it works great and nice to cook on. It has a battery powered starter that makes it simple to use.

Lots of power, lots of cooking area...good for fixing a feast! Nov 04, 2009
By D. J. Bell This stove has PLENTY of heating power to boil water within a couple of minutes. Even the long center burner puts out a good amount of heat. This works nicely when you have a giant pot (e.g., chili, stew) or are using the griddle, which, by the way is a great addition (i.e., sold separately) for breakfast cooking (eggs, bacon, hash browns...cook them all at once!).
With the ability to swing up the side pieces for wind screens, you actually keep a lot of that heat too vs. having it blow away in the wind.
I've been surprised how well the cooktop cleans up once we're finished. Unless grease gets burnt into the cooktop, it wipes away easily.
Overall, it's a great stove if you're cooking for a family.
