Outstanding Bag, So Warm And Cozy! May 19, 2007
By E. B. Hart

I needed a sleeping bag to go down to Mississippi last year in late fall. I bought a Mummy Style bag, different maker. It worked to sleep in, but wasn't big enough or comfortable enough. I'm pretty tall but not really heavy, so I needed something better. I bought this bag when I came home and wished I had found it first. I took it with me to the Grand Canyon and could have died there a happy man!!

big bag for big folks - singles and couples..... Sep 01, 2008
By Ms M We have 2 of these rectangular sleeping bags - identical so that we can zip them together and create one super-bag for the two of us, and the two bags do zip together easily and are roomy enough together that even two "ample-size" campers could fit comfortably (me and my guy are average size, so there's plenty of room to spare for us). Each sleeping bag has two cinch straps on the bag itself, and then another two cinch straps on the outer storage sack, and one of these outer cinch straps ripped off the outer sack after only a few times' use, but it still works just fine (as long as we don't lose the strap now that it's loose....). Any my guy thinks the temperature rating on the bag is not very accurate - the sleeping bag is rated for 5degF, and we were camping at 30degF night temp, and we needed 300weightFleece clothing inside the sleeping bag in order to stay warm enough to get a good night's sleep. So, for future use in cold-weather camping, we'll bring along additional felt liners for the bags to up the warmth factor a bit....
