Columbia Sail Fly 14' x 14' x 14' Tarp I bought this sail fly based on what was visible and the only review, which was 5 star rated and stated the fly was green and blended in well with foliage. There was no color selection available leading one to believe that forest green was the color of the fly. When I received it and looked at the box there was a color selection chart showing three colors,(blue, red, green). I opened the box to find I had a fire engine red 14X14X14 shade sail fly. Not what I wish to use in the woods camping, in my back yard, or anywhere else for that matter. Well Maybe to shade a yard sale or craft booth. Nice sail fly but not what I was 'expecting' as subtle inferences implied. I found it to be conveniently misrepresented. I'm a fairly new convert to Amazon as I felt Items were more likely to be 'AS REPRESENTED' yet I find perhaps 'caveat emptor' must still apply on some items at least.

excellent! Very well made, and Very durable! weve used it on over 5 motorcycle camping trips so far and it is wonderful! very easy to put up, love that each conection point has adjustment straps to tighten or loosen the tension on it.. extremly water proof!!! holds up well in the wind too! great just for shade too!

I bought this tent as a last minute addition to my camping gear for a Memorial Day camping weekend. This tarp SAVED the trip! We had four, VERY heavy thunderstorms that weekend and we were able to stay dry under the tarp, playing poker while waiting for the rain to die down. If it weren't for this tarp, the five of us would have had to huddle miserably in a four person tent. Instead, we were able to stay outside at the picnic table and enjoy a game of cards. While the red color is a little loud for camping, it gets the job done when used to keep the sun or water off of you. So basically, it does what it was designed to do very well, and that's all I need.

I bought this a year ago to provide shade over my swimming pool and it does a great job and at about half price of other comparable items available. It's a camping green color which pretty much blends in with the foliage colors. It's very light weight, dries very fast, and has not shown any signs of wear so far. The storage bag is nice too for putting it away for the winter.
