Bought this boot for varying terrain and temperature conditions. It is stable, comfortable, provides good traction, and is warm without being sweaty. I would strongly recommend this boot.

I wish I had seen the 1/2 size larger recommendation. Mine are 1/2 size too small! Nice boots though.

This shoe has been a real asset in the snow and ice. The recommendation to buy 1/2 size larger was right on. Fit great with no break-in time.

This boot is really comfortable. I don't know if I would do serious backpacing with them, but they're a great all around shoe. Seems put together well, and fairly light.

I purchased these for my dad as a gift. I personally own 4 pairs of Columbia boots and love them all so it was a no brainer to go with the brand. My dad walks 5 miles every morning rain or shine, winter or summer. He has had a great experience wearing these boots. He says they are comfortable and give him alot of cushion in his step. He is able to wear a couple of pairs of thick boot socks with these which in his mind is a big plus as he walks in very cold winter weather. Trust the brand, they know what their doing!
