Bomber trekking poles Jun 29, 2007

Among other things, I do extreme endurance events, like the 10-day, 480 mile adventure race Primal Quest. In Primal Quest Utah, trekking portions covered a total of 140 miles through deserts, canyons, and over mountains up to 12,700 feet. Rocks, sand, skree, talus, you name it we had it. My Fizan's performed without a hitch the whole race. They never collapsed at the telescope points, which can be a problem with telescoping poles, they never got bent despite the brutal punishment I put them through. They just simply worked. And the hand grip is super comfortable. It packs down to 24", so they were out of the way when we were doing slot canyons, for example. I highly recommend them, and for the price, they are amazing!
