5Practical and Stylish  Nov 13, 2006
By pdeldc
I sought a medium-sized bag that combined the accessibility of a sling bag with the space of a backpack - and was functional and comfortable. This bag met all my requirements. Other features I like: it is made from durable materials and has strong zippers; plenty of compartments and subcompartments to hold everying from books and laptops to pens, business cards, cell phone, iPod, and keys; and, it's stylish. Although I don't carry a laptop with this bag, the separate laptop compartment with an adjustable securing strap is also useful for books or legal sized business portfolios (which I use it for).

5Faithful Partner  Jan 01, 2008
By Roman Sainz
I have one of these, that I bought three years ago.

It's has been my faithful partner for all my travel.

Most of the bag is still in perfect stage, except for;
Orange accents are decolorated (the bag has faced the washing machine at least five times).
The zippers do not zip as easy as they used to. The orange, diagonal one, in particular, got stuck two months ago (that's after about 900 zips and unzips)
One of the lower belts (the pair that is under the bag) broke about two years ago, when I was back packing Canada. [it was not meant to support serious weight]

Other than that, this bag was build to last.
I use it to carry my laptop every day.
And every night it carries my sport clothes.
And on weekends it carries water bottles, gatorade, and whatever I need to go hiking.
[hint, it becomes more comfortable to wear for extended period, if the belt travels diagonally tru all the chest from one shoulder, to the opposite hip]

The local store, that use to have them, brought this one (just one) as a sample.
I am so glad I bought it.

Tonight I am looking to buy another one, and retire my old one with honors.

Great bag, IMHO.

5Quite good  Nov 27, 2007
By M. Holbrook
I bought this a couple weeks ago and so far I think it's quite good. It's got a ton of pockets, and the interior of the bag is orange, which makes it easy to find things. The only problem is the weight distribution. Since there's only one strap you have double the weight on one shoulder than you'd have with a normal bag. If you're carrying around a couple textbooks for a while you can get a sore shoulder.

5Love this pack  Apr 17, 2011
By M. Greene
I have been carrying this off and on for over a year. Recently became more of a mobile worker and this is my constant companion now. I carry my 15" MacBook pro, iPad, legal pads, file folders, pens, makeup, chargers, iPhone, wallet, yoga mat (bottom loops are perfect) and more in it every day. When I accidentally left it in my son's car before a recent trip, I panicked at the thought of traveling without it. I love it so much I came to amazon looking to buy another as backup... so bummed it is out of stock. So much easier and more comfortable to wear than a double-strapped pack. And so much more modern. Writing this review as a plea to High Sierra to bring this back. People ask me every week where I bought it... now I won't know what to tell them! PS High Sierra, when you bring it back you could make the water bottle pouch a bit taller. That's the only thing about it that's not perfect!

5Great Backpack  Sep 27, 2008
By AK "AK"
Have had for approximately 1 month - and a lot has been carried in it. Well made, easy to sling over your shoulder, and cute to boot.
