I bought this backpack in early '07 for a walk on the CT. It held up wonderfully and was very comfortable even with 70+ lbs of stuff loaded up in it, even before it was broken in. Everything is adjustable to where I needed it, and none of the compartments went unused. The two mesh side pockets were great for 1L Nalgene bottles and accessible without unmounting the backpack. They are also low so if they leak a little bit it won't get your stuff wet. Very well thought out design, not too complex and not too simpleton.
