Description:

The heart of the SweetWater microfilter is a replaceable 0.2-micron labyrinth depth filter with a Filter Replacement Safety Indicator imbedded inside the filter material. After repeated cleanings, this screen-like layer becomes visible so you know when it's time to replace your filter cartridge. A layer of granular activated carbon surrounding the filter improves the taste of unsavory water.

MSR and the Sweetwater filter system is the best I've found. I've used it all over the US and for years in Israel. I've taken water from wadi's in Israel and had no problems due to the fantastic filtration of this filter. I won't go anywhere without one. Sturdy, easy to clean, compact and light. What more can you ask for?

This product was delivered as described in the advertisement. This is my second filter for the sweetwater purifier. In general, both the purifier and filter are of high quality and seem to last. If you haven't purchased the purifier yet, I would consider a Pur model just based on output per number of pumps. My buddies who have pur models will fill a nalgene bottle in half the time it takes me.
