Great Pans! Sep 14, 2007
By Jason Mavy
"is there a better way?"
I bought these pots for backpacking/hunting. They are light, nest together so they don't take up a lot of space, and they are great for cooking in. I have used them on one 4-day trip. I wish they came with a little bag to keep everything together. The small pan is a great size for eating out of if you are just cooking for yourself. The set is sized for one or two person meals. Get some Lexan utensils and a Primus stove to go with these pans and you will be in heaven!
Best pot set! Jan 17, 2012
By Mountaineer Mike This is the best set of backpacking pots ever made for a solo hiker setup when you take into account the cost, weight, size and function all together. Do be aware that mine are the anodized aluminum ones. I worry a little about the health effects of the teflon coated ones and they are way too slippery on my Whisperlite.
