4Good Light for the money!  Jan 20, 2010
By W. Allen Crabtree
This is a decent light for the money. It does not have a lot of "bells and whistles" just turns on/off by loosening/tightening the lens cover. I have not had to remove the batteries to avoid battery rundown. Mine came with a spare bulb. I think you could buy another if needed whearever batteries and bulbs etc are sold, it does not look like a specialized bulb. Solidly constructed and made in USA, which is rare nowadays.

3Decent but "Where is the on/off switch?"  Jan 14, 2010
By The Real Deal "JAO"
Solidly constructed, casts a decent beam with the incandescent bulb and two AA batteries but you have to unscrew the lamp cover or take the batteries out to turn it off. I suppose you wouldn't need that if you were cave exploring but I use it in the early morning darkness to do livestock chores. I'd like to have an on/off switch to save the batteries without needing to take them out each time. If it had one, I'd give it a higher rating.
