This is a solid knife and I don't know how they do it for the money. The sheath is made of a sturdy leather,(not cheap) and the blade and handle are rock solid. I recommend it.

I was very surprised at the quality of this knife, all the u tubes were not that great about the new deerslayer knives. I feel the new knife will be a success after receiving mine today and feeling the knife for first time. What a beautiful blade, yes I am glad a did make this purchase.

As collectors and users of knives, my husband and I love this knife. We even purchased it as a gift for friends. We carry different knives on different days, as it is a novelty to vary on which size/style to carry each day! great knife!!!!

The packaged care papers said it was sharp. It did not feel sharp to me, but when placed against my wiskers on my face, right from the box, it shaved my wisker hair as if it was a high dollar razor. It definately came well sharpened and beautiful workman ship. I am very satisfied. Thinking of ordering another one. The quality and price is wonderful on the deerslayer.
