Bikamper is designed to be used with 26" mountain or 700C road bikes. It is a personal shelter that utilizes a bicycle and its front wheel in place of conventional tent poles. The canopy of the Bikamper is constructed of durable, waterproof coated 45D ripstop nylon and features three mesh windows for ventilation and stargazing on pleasant nights. The Bikamper fly is constructed of fully waterproofed 70D ripstop nylon to offers an additional layer of protection. Both tent and fly pack down to a small, space saving size. The Topeak Bikamper is sure to find a home in the panniers of serious bicycle tourists everywhere.Three mesh windows for ventilation and stargazing on pleasant nights. The canopy, fly and floor are constructed of fully waterproofed 45D ripstop nylon or 70D ripstop/ taffeta nylon. Seamtaping ensures a waterproof seal on canopy, fly and floor. The tent is cool !!! It goes up really fast and easy when its time to camp. Probably the biggest thing I have noticed so far is when you insert the wheel into the foot of the tent and pull on the wheel to make the top of the tent tight, you have to use a little muscle because otherwise the tent will sag badly and collect rain. Another thing that is not clear in the instructions is the rain fly attaches to the tent with three buckles and does not require its own stakes. My tent was actually missing the buckle at the foot of the tent and I had to get topeak's warranty service to send me a replacement buckle. The warranty service is provided by Todson and so far has been a very good USA based service. As for the size of the tent, I am 6'2" and I am comfortable in the tent, however if you are any taller than me this tent is not for you because when I am laying on my back, my head is almost against the head of the tent and my feet are all the way in the far corners of the tent. If you sleep on your side in a semi-fetal position you may be able to get away with being a little taller, but not much.
