Fantastic 3-room tent Sep 01, 2007
By Becky We took this tent on a plane and camped in OR and CA. It was VERY easy to set up. It also kept out the pouring rain we had our first night, and we had done nothing to waterproof the seams. We slept 2 people in each room. It slept 6 adults/teens comfortably, but I wouldn't want to add any more.
great bargain, just a couple of VERY minor flaws Aug 16, 2007

POSITIVES: Extremely easy set up and very compact when packed. It is a lot roomier than how it appears on the outside. It has 3 rooms total: the room in the middle could fit up to 3 adults and 1 child, and the side rooms can fit up to 2 adults and 1 child. We were actually able to fit a twin size air mattress on each the 2 side rooms, and the middle room looks like it could easily fit a queen bed, although we only used the middle room as the "common area". Aesthetically looks really cool and modern with vibrant red, blue and white colors. There is sufficient air circulation with the breezeway feature. The removable rain fly was also nice - it allows you let some sunshine in and more air into the tent. The material is strong and durable enough.
NEGATIVES: The rain fly does not fully let the rain out only because it does not extend far enough to the sides of the tent to actually cover the 2 angled ends. Basically, if those 2 windows on the side are left with just the screen flap zipped up, then everything on the sides will get wet. It happened to us when a quick rainshower occurred, and we only had the screen (and not the inside, water-resistant flap) zipped up. The other negative is that the room dividers have the zipper running down the middle. This makes it a little bit hard to zip close, since they're so stretched out across. You literally have to push them together to get the zipper to continue to be pulled down... but once you get through the first 12 inches, it just zips right down. OTHERWISE, the tent is a great buy for under $150.
