Great, solid tent Jul 28, 2006
By S. M. Warren We camp 20-30 nights a year and just declared our old tent "dead". Bought the Wenger Lugano and are pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it is. We often camp in windy areas and will feel very safe in this one.
The tent is very easy to put up. All verticle poles are same length and all archway poles are, as well. Very, very easy to set this one up.
My favorite aspect of the tent is the terrific headroom for someone who is 6'1". Least favorite: Sewn-in room divider. I don't always like the tent divided into two areas.

Great for camping Aug 14, 2006

This tent is easy to put up and take down. There was plenty of room for five of us. It is well made and stood up to the different weather we had in the mountains. The tent folded into a reasonable size bag. I can't wait to use it again!

Easy to set up (15 minutes top!) excelet quality, one full day under the rain and it was perfectly dry inside. Lots of big windows keep the tent nice and cool.

Wenger Tent Jul 09, 2006

I just got back from camping with this tent.. I also purchased a tent locally for my children to use. The Wenger tent has such superior quality over the other brand name tent, I was impressed. Thanks again, for helping me find a great deal on such a great product!

Easy to put up, great in the rain & HUGE Jul 17, 2007

This tent is GREAT!!
We meant to put it up beforehand & apply seam sealer (as I do with any new tent) but we did not have the chance. As it turns out it didn't matter a bit.
Even having NEVER seen the tent intructions, we easily put it up in 20-30 minutes. It actually took longer to put up our dinning fly than it did to raise the tent. As we were putting up the tent it started raining. As we finished & put in our gear, it started POURING. We all sat in it for a good half an hour while a thunderstorm raged outside. It was humid outside & in, but we were DRY. When we took the tent down after 4 days there was water in between the ground tarp & the tent(I always use a separate tarp under) but we and all our stuff were fine.
There is a canopy with a mat that easily fits a chair or 2 while still keeping you dry. The zippers didn't stick at all. All the doors & windows have ties to keep them up/down. It has great ventalation. There is a 'muddy shoe' zippered compartment next to the door, but I use it to keep all the tent bags, extra stakes, et al together.
We did have extra stakes & pleanty of rope included. Square poles are helpful too.
And it is SO spacious. We had a queen air bed & room for our gear in 1 room, 3 kids and all their stuff in the other, with plenty of room to spare. There is even a 'back door' on the side so you don't have to walk all the way through the tent to get to the back room. (or walk over sleeping bodies to get out the front)
When we were done it came down fast & easily fit in the bag it came with.
It is sturdy, waterproof & well made.
We plan to use this tent happily for years to come.
