Great family tent Jul 05, 2006
By 4 cell phone family We got this tent on sale for my husband for father's day and it turned out to be a great buy. We loved the cheerful color and the fact that the door of the tent was tall enough for a grown man to enter while standing up. We recommend that you take the time to practice putting it up and taking it down while in the comfort of your own yard. Once you understand the order that the poles are put in, if necessary, it can be put up by only one person in less than 15 minutes.
As with most tents, it was almost impossible to get the tent back in the original box once it was taken out, so we now use an old wheeled suitcase to store and transport it. This works better anyway since it is rather heavy for one person to carry. Like most dome tents, the tent can be set up "free-standing," but it works better if pulled taunt by the four stakes in the ground.

Great Roomy Family Tent! Aug 13, 2006
By J. Ma This tent is a great family tent that is roomy and spacious. Very easy to put together, took two people about 10-15 minutes total. Served us well, enough room for the entire family and all of the camping goods that we had. Nice little mat in the front for your shoes, windows are great and give good circulation, and LOVE the mesh roof. Great buy and very reliable, and cheery. It became a bit chilly at night but I dont think the tent could be blamed for that!

Circus Tent Nov 10, 2006
By S. Tarzwell

I am very happy with the tent. We've had it up 3xs now and each time I've liked it more. The height of the tent is wonderful as my partner can stand up at 6' and walk around without hunching over.
SIZE: There's just the two of us but we carry a lot of stuff. Last time we put up our two large cots, and we were still able to sit in our folding chairs in the middle and cook dinner on a small grill. If we'd of had a small table could have put put up.
SETUP: The tent is easy to set up, two people can take care of it in about 15mins. I like that the poles are easy to tell where they go and are strong. Whats great about the take down... you don't have to be a rolling/folding protogy to get it back in the bag, they actaully included a bag large enough for it to go back into. You can stake it if you like it'll help the sides stand out but they are not needed for structure. I would get some different spikes as the plastic ones arn't going to last long.
EXTRAS:I like the mat in front of the door as I steped out on it several times to grab a soda and didn't get my socks wet from the ground. This tent has a lot of breeze when the top is off as it's almost all mesh when you zip out the windows. The little net in the top was nice to put glasses and other breakables up, it also held a light well. Also the door is large enough to get in and out without having to fold yourself up, I really liked that.
I can't see a thing wrong with this tent, we call it the circus tent as its tall and square, plus our friends had to make fun of us as we have a huge tent and only two of us.

Good tent for the money so far Jan 07, 2007
By R. Pawlik This tent is nice and roomy and easy to set-up. It is a good size for family camping and will fit well on campground pads. I took the time to read and follow the instructions for set-up and did so by myself in about 35 min. I figure next time I could easily do so in about 15 to 20 min. I have only used this tent once. My only concerns at this point are I am unsure as to how this tent will perform in heavy rain, as it does not have the tub-style floor. The bottom of the door is only about 1" off the ground, so if you were to have a short, but heavy shower and have standing water around the tent , I think it may run inside. The rain fly fits nicely, but does not overhang the windows by much, so windows would have to remain almost all but closed during a shower. Again these are only concerns at this point as I have only been able to use the tent once(no rain) so far. Other than that, the tent is spacious and comfortable. The door and windows funcion easily and the light color keeps the inside bright.
I am an occasional camper with young kids and we all fit comfortably in this tent. I would recommend it for family camping. It is hard to beat for the money.
Worth the cash Sep 30, 2008
By S Mac You can always subtract 2 from the 'advertised' capacity, but this was plenty big for our family. I like larger tents to keep all of our stuff inside and dry.
We've only used this tent once, but it rained a little and the tent performed as expected.
Don't try to repack into the original bag.
