5Excellent family tent at a bargain price  Jul 11, 2007
By D. Cherry "nikonguy"
I bought this tent for our family to use for summer camping trips to local campgrounds. We used it for the first time last week and it served our needs quite well. There are 4 of us with my wife and two kids and we had plenty of room for sleeping and changing clothes. There was room for a queen sized airbed, two twin airbeds, two duffle bags of clothes and a lantern. Admittedly, there wasn't much additional floor space, but our main concern was a comfortable place to sleep and change clothes. The weather was perfect the entire time we were there, so I can't comment on the tent's rain worthiness, but there was fairly heavy dew on the tent each morning and none seeped through to the inside of the tent. The manufacturer reccommends sealing the seams on the inside of the tent with a waterproof sealant and I did. So, hopefully the first time we have to face a rainy day our tent will remain dry. I am extremely pleased with the purchase of this tent and would highly recommend it to any small family who is looking for a high quality tent for some fun family camping. I wouldn't recommend it for families larger than 4 people, but 4 can be relatively comfortable. The tent is high enough in the center that most men can stand with a minimum amount of stooping which is nice when getting dressed or just stretching.

4Large, functional, but bulky  Jul 16, 2007
By G. Mynhardt
I did a lot of research on tents for a planned "primitive" camping trip. I selected this tent, because I want to use it in the future if I have more gear or more people to tag along. The tent is very large. Unlike my former "2-person" tent, which actually only comfortably fit myself, this tent is very cozy. We use it as a very comfortable 2-person tent, but you can easily fit 4 people. I would recommend this tent for a couple, but not for a single person, merely because of the setup. It's not just a "take out of the sack and throw it up" sort of tent. It takes two people to work it.

The only real complaint I have is that the tent is bulky. I had to carry it for more than half a mile along with my other gear, and it was uncomfortable. This isn't a problem if you park right at your campsite, or have an RV. The setup is fairly easy if you have 2 people. I would not recommend it for one person, unless you're an experienced camper.

Otherwise, this tent is a great buy. I know that I will probably use it for countless trips. It's of relatively good quality for the price, and is really family-friendly. I would recommend this for anyone who likes to have a bit of leg (and arm) room when sleeping. I rate it a 4 because of the bulkiness. This might not be an issue for you, though. Happy camping!

4Nice side doors for easy access to your stuff  Oct 11, 2007

This is a great tent, the side wings add nice space and with cargo doors for easy access. The four windows provide excellent ventilation.

The tie down strap are a litte lite, one of mine tore the second trip out.

5Great Tent  Dec 05, 2010
By val
My family bought and used our tent twice this past spring and summer. We loved it the first time we used it,it took maybe and hour to put it up and after that it was very easy to set up and easy to break down. The second time we used it we camped out in our back yard. I'm glad we invested in this tent.My husband and I and our daughter love it. Can't wait until next year to do it again. Its very spacious. You can actually housed two-three adults and a kid to preteen in tent or fit two queen sized air beds w/room for a fold up chair and small table.

GREAT INVESTMENT!!!!!!!!
